Dead as hell, the only posts is spam, no boards, can be posted without JS and Tor.

A classic in the web. Runs Cloudflare and had it's source code revealed showing it datamines you. It's anonymity died in 2008 when the feds made an ultimatum to Moot. The site stopped being good post-2014, the site has not been impactful in years with it's last impact being some dumb content farm shit (The Backrooms), it's been ruined by newfags (not that newfags are inherently bad)
Beyond that let's look more into the site, first of all, there are so many fucking boards good gravy, but considering the popularity of 4chan this probably isn't to it's misfortune. The site's What is 4chan? section does not load with noJS but for the most part you can see everything on the menu, however closing that aforementioned menu seems to require JavaScript. The rules are quite big and have things like "you will not pos false information", not to mention raiding is banned (something oldfags did), users complaining is banned, avatarfagging is banned (fair enough ig), shitposting is banned in the name of posting quality. You can't call people niggers (not to mention people have been banned for making fun of da joos and trannies). They have a fucking subscription service just to bypass captchas (imagine paying to post faster on an imageboard geg).
Now let's get to the board, first /g/ it was the first one I used, yes, I did actually used to browse 4chan for a short bit, but only for the tech board as I had done with many altchans back then, it all stopped probably nearish the 4chan hack when I actually started using the Sharty as my second main imageboard of browsing. The /g/ board is shit, like this is so boring and uninteresting compared to the other altchans, god I actually USED to browse this garbage. Moving over to the /p/ the photography board, which aside from the fact I know next to nothing on photography bores me to back and Earth, although the Shrek Colors Edition general did get a chuckle out of me though that's probably because I like Shrek memes. You can't post from the Tor, the site just gives you an internal server error. Going to /pol/ it was actually much better as there were le heckin soyboy woahjaks in the 'og, reminding me of what was superior, which speaking of catalog, it requires JavaScript for some obscene reason, even fucking Vichan can display a catalog without this garbage. I will say /pol/ is rather enjoyable actually, if I were forced to use 4chan I'd probabl just use /pol/. I opened /b/ and saw le heckin pedophiles, god why are otakus such fucking faggots.
There's not even a privacy policy on the site.

A site with the same gimmick as 8chan, but even more dead and obscure, I would only use it as a bunker if I hosted a community, posting never really seemed to work on my setup even with the no cookies captcha, some boards I feel are worth mentioning is /kuzzy/, and /nc/ all of which are bunkers. The site is dead and no one really uses it. Oh yeah it also it has a snapp, and onion site, however I should add this as a spooky warning, one of the clearnet domains is cloudflared.

Ahhh what an imageboard, my most used one being completely honest, the culture, oh baby the culture. An extremely documented culture. The website has many (officially) related communities, like a wiki, IRC, booru, a SCP-ish wiki thing and a network of game servers. This has helped in expanding the soysphere and easily making their dialect easier to understand for nuGODs. Most of the boards are nice and have a nice troonslop-hating community, the culture hates Discord as the "people" on there do nothing but force garbage onto the website and groom minors with their fucked up fetishes.
The site has a Tor service, even the wiki does, and they have Tor-friendly versions of the captcha (that still unfortunately require JS to get past). You can post through Tor via IP tokens, where you have to open a tab on the clearnet and then acquire it, this unfortunately will be related and tied back to that IP address, the only really anonymous way would be with the Soygem Pass system. Which removes the Captcha system. We also hacked 4chan, that was amazing, so amazing.
But... there's a dark side to this. The site has no privacy policy, it USED to, but from it's very beginning it was had datamined it's users. When new management it still kept happening. Just read this page if you wanna get a deeper understanding of the datamining currently (sncapedia) (soyjak wiki). But yeah. Privacywise it's garbage. But the culture and history makes it so enjoyable. It should be noted that their Tor-friendly captcha does not work on Pale Moon and only on Firefox, along with the fact clearnet domains are Cloudflared for some fucking reason.

NOT cloudflared so that's good, still almost definitely a honeypot since Jim Watkins acquired the site. Actually has a Tor link like the old 8chan, although I feel like it's just there for history's sake. The only really active board /qresearch/ has like 7 pinned posts on it, which considering how dead this site is compared to 4chan is not a good thing, especially post-8chan's original death in 2019, the tag and title search functions well without JS, this site is much better then 4cuck in that regard. The site seems to have an ad spam problem in boards, but beats child porn honestly, still kills the mood and illuminates how dead this site is. The site does allow Tor users but only if the board owners allow it. Anyways, the only board maybe worth anything that's semi-alive is /v/ it's pretty good, plus everyone there seems to hate Steam, what a breath of freshair.
Let's get deeper into this aside from the fact it IS a fed honeypot still like 4chan and hasn't been private in a while, the site constantly has a "this post isn't what we 8chan agree with" or something like that under every post. The site is rulecucked even beyond the reasonable ban of gore and csam, doxing, drug substances and everything illegal in the US in banned, so much for freedom.
Unlike 4chan it actually has a privacy policy, onto the topic of accounts, they keep a log of actions committed by a user, does not allow deletion of accounts unless you ask an admin to, the website uses SoftServe for advertising, looking deeper into SoftServe's own cookie notice we can see they analyze your browsing habits including links clicked and visited, however in the same paragraph, 8kun bring up how you can avoid this by disabling JS and adblocking software. 8kun also admits to sharing some private data with third-parties but make sit "unidentifiable", they also admit to bend the knee to the government when it comes to accessing user's data. 8kun only allows deletion of data if your country allows the right to delete data. Considering it's a honeypot, despite /v/ being pretty good actually, but also it being so dead from it's previous glory.

Another splinter of the sharty, focused on squirreljaks, wow so deep. The site has it's booru, and a Minecraft server. Seems quite dead, probably able to post noJS, although it's won't post if there is no HTTP referer sent out.

Uncompromisingly cloudflared to hell and back, probably works similar to noJS as you can on Vichan. The content is alright, they atleast focus on soyposting unlike the Shemmy, which many originate from on this. Has a media pending approval system so CSAM is impossible. Apparently the admin will randomly leak IPs when he gets mad. You can browse with VPN at least though.

The successor to 8chan and considered an actual successor usually, unlike the latter 8kun. Made and ran by a literal pedophile, it was created over the fact lolicon couldn't be posted anymore (womp womp), the site used to have a fucking beastility board what the fuck, the /v/ board is eh, there's some gamergate fags here and there for some good forsaken reason, to much animeposting. The site is not cloudflared that's good, it has a Tor address which is good, the block bypass requires you to have something downloaded to understand a string of text for some reason, so Tor posting might be possible? From the little I browsed /b/ seems good and actually had some really interesting threads being honest, I also sometimes browse /t/ which is quite good but not as good as some others. The site collects your geo-IP, time zone, IP address, and adds a vague "etc" at the end, meaning they collect more. Oh how things never change. They're also cuckolds for the law btw

A site focused on the anime Serial Experiments Lain, except that's mostly a LARP, it's more actually focused on topics that would relate to it. Meaning it's very /tech/-adjacent. Also as I was browsing a GET was caught by an FPE soyteen. I've browsed /tech/ a lot and have quite positive things to say. They have an IRC, although it's web client uses JavaScript, it also has it's own zine, calender, and radio for some reason or another. No Cloudflare, Tor posting is enabled. I will note the calender requires JavaScript. There is no privacy policy, uh... notice a common trend with these chans having no privacy policy? Has it's own imageboard software named after itself

Blocks Tor, they have a wiki, a section for video games, a Minecraft server, and a booru. Can be browsed with noJS, which makes sense as it's vichan. There's also media pending approval so csam is impossible.
Now let's dig more deeper into the rules section, pornography and other mature materials (gore) are banned, which knowing the darker parts of the Ongezellig community. The rules restrict drama and the stuff but it's fine.
The community of this site is meh, sure they have fight against degenerates in the community, there still are some questionable posts on there that show the community isn't entirely pure as the rest. It's meh honestly.

Yet another Tor site, runs TinyIB engine and has many boards, the content is good, the site does not allow illegal activity and csam. Works completely without JS however is dead as hell.
Good tier
Yeah it's a text board, shut up. Seems to have actual decent activity. Works without JS, deep web-only. Cool /tech/-adjacent content.

A site dedicated to Ashley Jones. Who is Ashley? Just a politically-incorrect comedian who uses linux and Tor, but le woman. Questionable content can be found here and you can ask her questions on it. Supports Tor noJS posting. Uses JSChan engine. Has tor domain

My first ever imageboard, back in December 2024 I started using this thing. Extremely paranoid and knowledgable userbase when it comes to privacy. I used to only use /tech/ (great board), but have branched out more to other ones. /free/ is nothing more than muh eugenics, muh trump le bad, muh christianity le bad and it gets REALLY old even if they write really long paragraphs. It also VERY VERY difficult sometimes incomprehensible captchas, but they aren't really, althoguh if you bad vision, might as well leave this site. The site has spam issues and that sometimes ruins the ability to post because it'll say "come back in a minute" or the dreaded "post 96 characters". It doesn't state it's privacy policy so assume it glows. Has my favorite stylistic look of any imageboard I've ever used thanks to it having it's own engine. Speaking of engine, everything runs without JS! EVERYTHING! Despite censoring links to csam the site does host and has csam and pornography of that nature on it, it was much more common when I joined to see some kind being posted, now it's mostly safe. But yeah the site IS just filled with pedos with a small(?) non-pedo userbase like myself.
